When to use it

Use it when you are setting your rates, when you are quoting for a specific job, or when you suspect you have been undercharging and want to check your numbers add up once tax and running costs are included.

How it works

You enter the hours the job will take, the take-home you want per hour, the materials cost and your level of overheads. It builds up a charge-out rate that covers your costs and a tax set-aside, then gives you a job price and a sensible quote range. Nothing you enter is saved, and you do not need to give your name or email to use it. Local rates vary, so use this as your floor and adjust for the job and your area.
